When a child is in cardiac crisis, the medical team is focused on saving that child. That's exactly how it should be. But the parents sleeping in hospital chairs for months -- navigating mortgage payments, mental health crises, and a system that wasn't built for them -- are largely on their own.
MAJJK exists to change that.
Mental Health Access
Parents and siblings living through a long-term cardiac hospitalization are experiencing trauma. Through partnerships, we connect families with licensed therapists who understand what they're going through -- at no cost to them.
Research & Innovation
Better outcomes for kids with congenital heart disease start with better science. We fund the clinical research and emerging technology that moves the needle for pediatric cardiac patients long-term.
Family Financial Relief
A child in the CVICU means a parent at the bedside. Bills don't stop. We provide emergency financial assistance to families under pressure so they can stay focused on their child, not their bank account.
